Just found out about GlescaPals. I was a member of Calton New Parish and was brought up through Calton New Parish Church from childhood to adulthood. You will probably remember the 28th BB which I became Captain of after Bobby Anderson gave it up. We had brilliant Summer holidays and weekends to St Cyrus. I am still in touch with some of the officers including Kerr Reid.
A year past last July we had an Officers reunion with our wives to St Cyrus and visited the old camp site down the Beach. Took some nostalgic photographs and still have some from our summer camps many years ago now.
Remember you from the 219th BB who were our fellow BB Company in the Church. Do you remember the 177th from the Gallowgate, Bill Owens was the Captain. Happy days

Great to hear from you George!  Regards, Webmaister.
