"This is the one and only time I was a bridesmaid. It was the
wedding of my cousin, Isobel Dow. I am standing on the far right (I
was 15 - so it must have been 1953/54).
Another cousin, Pearl Herd is standing beside me. The two children
(I cannot remember their names) are the children of other cousins.
I have lost touch with all of them. They were all from Bridgeton

This is the group photo at my cousin Isobel Dow's
wedding, I am one of the bridesmaids (2nd from right front row)
Isobel married a Londoner, but practically all the guests there came
from Bridgeton.
I don't know the name of the hall - does anyone recognise it?

Church London Road in 1953...alas the marraige didn't last long and
they seperated when it was about 10 mths old
