      I was born in 1947 and lived in the East End of Glasgow before moving to Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, in 1981.  

The book cover shows me at Carntyne Primary School in 1955.


This is a gentle, humorous stroll through my life, told in short stories and something maybe akin to poetry.  I have dipped in and out to recall various times in my life that tickle, fascinate or leave me nonplussed. 

There is no structure or discipline that I can see in my work - but it makes me laugh.  God help me, I'm probably deluded.  Well there you are a niche in the market.
