".....I received the class photo from Mrs Ellis whose son is in the top row (No7) sadly he is now deceased. Mrs Ellis happened to mention to my daughter, who is her neighbour, she recollected her son saying I was in it.  My daughter mentioned your website and she sent the photo for inclusion, the year  was 1963/64, aged 6yrs. I attended during 62/64 at QMS, then went to Dalmarnock 64/65 I  left to go to Barrowfield 65-67 and returned to Dalmarnock 67-69"

Again Webmaister,what a great website, now living in Australia it brings back some fantastic memories....Heres some names for the class of 63/64 at Queen Mary St

April 2017. William Balmer, Age 60, Stonehaven, Scotland
Hi Wull, my name is William Balmer born 112 Bernard Street, 19th Sept 1956 and just to let you know I am No 4 back row Queen Mary Street School 1963 / 1964.
Tam Bain was my Dads uncle also called William Balmer . Tams wife Jean was my Granny's sister called Lilias Oakes and one of Tams daughters was named after my Granny Lilias Trotter.
My Dad passed away 3rd Dec 2015 and I am presently going through old photos etc that he had.
