.

St Mark's Primary School on Muiryfauld Drive in Shettleston c 1970. This Glasgow School Board school was located between Dalton Street and Edenwood Street but was replaced in 1968 by a new St Mark's Primary School.

The new school was built on the street a few yards to the south of the original St Mark's, between Edenwood Street and Tollcross Park. It was the 145th post-war school to be built by Glasgow Corporation and cost £162,000. It was opened by Councillor John Dunne on 17 January 1968 and could accommodate 680 pupils.
