5th May 1917

Glasgow City Archives:
On 5th May 1917, former New Zealand Prime Mnister Sir Joseph Ward inspected the Boys' Brigade at Queen's Park

A number of ex-Boys' Brigade members served in World War 1, with many in the 16th Battalion Highland Light Infantry,
the 'Holy Second'.

Other regiments and battalions were represented, seen in the Roll of Honour for the 82nd Glasgow Company based at Queen's Park.
