July.2008, photograph and names were sent to me from Jim Campbell, a former member of the 195th BB

Hello, my father, Bob Laurie, pointed me in the direction of your excellent website, particularly the photos my two brothers and I feature in! Only one of us remains a Glesca boy, whilst my younger brother and I have moved on to other parts. It was great to remember that 195th Boys Brigade camp in Jersey, and to see some of the old faces from a time when we definitely weren't so old! It was also sad to hear some of those faces were no longer with us.

You have obviously obtained material concerning the 195th from Jim Campbell, a face I know very well. Unfortunately, his memory is a bit out on a couple of points, which I am happy to put right, if you wish.
In the 1983 Centenary photograph of the 195th BB, Stuart Laurie is credited in the second row, standing beside Robert Wray. I'm afraid that particular ugly mug belongs to me, although even my own wife couldn't pick me out! I was only 12 years old, mind you.
Anyway, congratulations on a fantastic trip down memory lane. I am still in touch with many of the lads in these photos, and you can be assured I will be pointing them in the direction of this website.  Kindest Regards
